THE “FIENDISH FORTY MILE”

The Fiendish Forty Mile takes you on a trip along the San Mateo County coastline where you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and get off the beaten path to explore the peaceful and picturesque countryside.

With a moderate elevation gain of 2,510′, this ride is geared towards cyclists looking for an exhilarating, scenic and fun medium-distance ride.

Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

BONUS RIDE SHUTTLE!

If you prefer not to ride in a tighter section of Highway 1, hop on our free shuttle! PARCA will be running two vans equipped with bike racks all morning, between Montara and Lantos Tunnels, a 2.4-mile stretch (please see map).

While you are waiting for your shuttle to arrive, enjoy snacks and drinks, and catch up with your fellow riders and our amazing PARCA volunteers!
